Exploring the Psyche: My HUMSS Adventure Begins

"HUMSS is easy" is what they said, but now I fully realize it's not true. I knew it wasn't going to be easy, nothing in life is easy and I believe life should have challenges, however, I had no idea two years ago that I was going to tackle a lot of insanely rough roads. The stress, the hardships, and the multiple minor breakdowns seem worth it because I learned valuable stuff from HUMSS.

We tackled interesting topics, psychology was one of them; Sigmund Freud including his contributions was mentioned multiple times in different subjects; additionally, we learned about the subconscious mind, counseling, and the structures like id, ego, and superego. I also enjoyed philosophy, I learned about life, body, soul, and many other philosophies.

Despite being shocking at first, the HUMSS adventure has turned into a source of knowledge. The study of the humanities has expanded my perspective and mingled with my love of psychology. The startling realization that sometimes the unexpected path is the one that leads to significant discoveries is left me wondering as I explore the depths of the human mind.
